Trees could run and hide in the Hills

Welcome to the World of Blogging

After a romantic dinner date with my ever-delightfully amazing friend Meags (i heart sew) at my new favorite Townsville Resturant "The Garden of Eating", I have decided to kick my blog off. It may also have something to do with the 60% exam study I am sooooooooooooooo good at NOT DOING.

In my REDICK levels of procrastination I have also managed to stumble across my newest song addiction (get used to it folks... I have a new one every week... and I manage to kill the song for everyone around me by playing it on repeat about a THOUSSSSSSSSSSSS-SSSSSSSSAND times).

So without further a do... I want to introduce you to Courtney Young. A 19 year-old from Mackay, North Queensland. She is (for lack of better words) FREAKIN AMAZING! Her gentle beats and lyrics remind me of a cross between Angus and Julia Stone and Lisa Mitchell. Now.. I will admit, I dont know much.. if anything... about music, but this girl is seriously talented and I have literally been listening to her song Remedy for about 3 hours on repeat.

Photo Stolen from the James Bridge Facebook Page.. They are also amazing.. further blogs to come!

Sooo, I am not sure how to post links yet.. but google Courtney Young to listen to her on Myspace or Triple J Unearthed. Ps. Did I forget to mention she is a total BABEIN MINX!
Now, I am off to read about the Public Sphere... or do some online shopping.
Peace and Love to you all! (the 3 people who will probably read this haaaaa)
To leave you with the words of Courtney Young:
"Put my sorrows in a Marmalade Jar, and like a child, you shook it around"
